Completing all three credentials: European Pattern Drafting- Introduction, European Style Garment Making – Introduction, and European Style Pattern and Garment Making – La Modellista is the completion of two Italian texts and qualifies participants to write the Italian Fashion Arts exam offered by Le Grand Chic School of Fashion in Latina, Italy. cRedentials European Pattern Drafting – Introduction European Style Garment Making – Introduction European Style Pattern and Garment Making – La Modellista EuROPEAN PATTERN DRAFTING – INTRODuCTION EPDI (RECOGNITION OF SuCCESSFuL COMPLETION) This flat pattern making method, which uses cutting-edge techniques, was perfected in Italy and has been used widely in Europe for custom design, couture and tailoring since the 1950's. Students will learn to re-create a style from a sketch or create their own designs and tailor them properly. As students progress through the courses, they will learn to consider design, fabrics, drape, finishing and lines to apply to their sewing techniques. Completing this credential along with the European Style Garment Making-Introduction credential is the conclusion of the text: Le Grand Chic – Pattern Drafting and Basic Tailoring, the first level of skills required in working toward an Italian credential from Le Grand Chic School of Fashion in Latina, Italy.
