Enjoy the company of fellow artists, along with Gary Evans, Fine Arts Faculty, in an open-air setting in beautiful Simcoe County. Each day will be spent at a different outdoor location painting the landscape. Four guest artists will share their knowledge and passion for landscape painting as well as offer critiques on your work. Guest artists' talks and discussion will explore the state of landscape painting in contemporary art. The week will conclude with a reception and exhibition in the Campus Gallery at Georgian College, Barrie Campus. LANDScApE STUDIO May 25 – 29, 2015 Experience a week-long study in the Georgian College studios augmented with daily discussion about contemporary art. Each day includes a lecture in the studio followed by time for open work with the guidance of the guest artist. Four different studios: painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking.
