What is ontaRioleaRn? OntarioLearn is a consortium of 24 Ontario community colleges who have partnered to develop and deliver online courses. Each partner college selects courses from the www.ontariolearn.com course inventory that will complement their existing distance education offerings. Being an online student means you can access courses at your convenience – when commuting, or from your home, office or any other location. OntarioLearn courses are NOT offered through Georgian's BlackBoard. Students are emailed a confirmation letter to their Georgian student email account, which provides the information needed to access course material through www.ontariolearn. com. Students need to contact the OntarioLearn office at ol@ georgiancollege.ca and include their name and course title if they do not receive their letter. For more information about Georgian's OntarioLearn including course descriptions, prerequisites and fees please visit GeorgianCollege.ca/ontariolearn OntarioLearn courses charge an additional Distance Education fee. ONTARIOLEARN ONLINE EquIVALENCIES Equivalent courses are courses where there is sufficient overlap in content that a student may register in the course to meet a program requirement. The evaluation, schedule of activities, textbooks, etc., may differ from the in-class course. All of these courses are credit courses. please note that equivalencies can change.
