The program explores why individuals become criminals as well as why individuals are attracted to those with deviant behaviours. I was able to complete my studies and keep my full-time job. As a first class constable, I was automatically exempted for 50 per cent of the credits I needed. That was increased to 75 per cent after the college assessed my education. The program was flexible, my instructors were knowledgeable, and with their support, I finished my courses in October 2013 – with honours. I'd recommend this program to all police professionals looking to continue their education. For me, this degree is about setting an example and sending a message – it's never too late to learn.
