What I greatly enjoyed about taking a Continuing Education program at Georgian was it awoke my student spirit – at 48 years of age. I enjoyed being with others who had the same interests as myself. The instructors were experts in the field and shared their experience and knowledge. Completing a placement at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care and taking classes at Brooklea Golf & Country Club, gave me great experience in commercial kitchen environments. We cooked a variety of different recipes each week, which we took home to share with our families. I'm confident what I learned will allow me to excel in this field.
