RESTRICTED OPERATOR'S CERTIFICATE – MARITIME COMMERCIAL (ROC–MC)
This course is intended for mariners serving on compulsorily-fitted commercial ships within the North American A1 sea areas. It
is compliant with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers, 1978,
as amended in the 1995 (STCW 95 Regulation IV/2). The material presented in this course covers the scope of the examination
for the Restricted Operator's Certificate – Maritime Commercial (ROC-MC) for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System
(GMDSS).
GMDSS – GENERAL OPERATORS CERTIFICATE (GOC)
This training course is intended for seafarers who require a Global Maritime, Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) General
Operators Certificate in accordance with Section A-IV/2 of the STCW Code. Course content is a combination of theoretical
delivery and practical operation of varied communication equipment.
NOTE: Candidates must bring two (2) citizenship/passport photographs for their GOC certificate.
