Here we go again
Another academic year approaches! Most
students will enter their second year of college
with more condence and less anxiety about
what to expect. However, there may be some
mixed feelings about leaving home again and
some stress about transitioning into another
year of college. These feelings are normal and
they often need reassurance. Georgian services
will help you manage second-year questions,
concerns and feelings as well as connect you to
the employment or further education of your
future. Your success is our success!
Things to know this month:
• Students can purchase parking passes, course
materials (in person or online) and Fitness Centre
memberships this month to avoid line-ups in
Sept.
• Students with disabilities should connect with their
Accessibility Advisor early to set up accommodations
for the fall
• Volunteer opportunities exist for those who want to
help out at Orientation. Contact
