Emily Behm and Trisha Speakman conceived of a
nut-free chocolate spread and received help from the
HBEC to create a business plan and secure funding.
STUDENTS SOLVE PROBLEMS AT
HANDS-ON EVENT
Students participate in weekend hackathons and
form teams to solve real-world business and social
challenges.
Irin Avery and Marco Duarte won the 2016 Georgian Den
competition. Their business – College Coders – came together
at an HBEC-sponsored boot camp.
