Roger Little oversees the largest wholesale distributor of electrical materials in the country, Rexel Canada Electrical Inc. He began his upward trajectory with the company a few years after graduating from Georgian, when he landed a role as an automation specialist with Westburne, a division of Rexel. His natural aptitude for people and financial management, and an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction, opened doors to a multitude of opportunities. He was general manager of four different divisions before becoming a vice president, and then CEO. He says being flexible was key to his growth. He moved many times, with his family in tow, to take on new and exciting roles that allowed him to learn more about Rexel's operations. Now he's in charge of $1.5 billion in annual sales, 2,200 employees and a network of more than 200 branches stretching from coast to coast. He's particularly proud of diversifying and evolving the company's product line to help customers secure and use materials that reduce their carbon footprint. Since continual learning about the company and sector has been a priority in his career, he wants others to have the same opportunity. In 2016, Roger spearheaded the Rexel Academy in Canada, which provides employees a wide array of training from product to technology to health and wellness.
