20 07 20 09 20 08 Arjun arrived at Georgian as an international student from India with a passion for education. That passion still guides him in his role as president of a private secondary school in Brampton. His connections to Barrie remain strong as he oversees two non-profits he founded, the South Asian Association of Simcoe County and the Barrie Cricket League. The late Arch and Helen Brown are the only recipients of Georgian's Honorary Alumni Award. From 1967 through to their passing (2009 and 2014 respectively), the couple gave tirelessly of their time and funds to support Georgian students, believing that the arts and lifelong learning are very sound investments. "The people I met doing the Auto Show are still some of my closest friends," says Jeremy. "Despite the 5 a.m. wake-up calls, it was an amazing experience." Now teaching is in his blood, both as Manager of Dealer Performance at SCI MarketView and as an instructor at Georgian.
