Do your research
Come to Open House, explore your options, book
a personalized tour, connect with Georgian staff,
and learn about admission requirements online.
Apply at ontariocolleges.ca
Apply before Feb. 1 for highly competitive
programs. Apply anytime before the semester
starts if your program has vacancies. After you
apply, remember to check email often.
Admission
Check Web for Admissions to see if you're missing
any requirements to get into your program. If you
can't meet requirements, contact your admissions
officer to discuss options.
You're in!
Most applicants receive offers of admission
around Feb. 1. Acceptances for highly competitive
programs and programs with selection processes
are sent in March onward.
Accept your offer
If you start in September, accept your
offer by May 1. Check Web for Admissions for
information on your deadlines.
Apply for financial aid
Need help making ends meet? Apply for OSAP.

Pay your deposit
To confirm your spot in the program, pay your
deposit. Deadlines are June 15 if you start in
September, Oct. 3 if you start in January, and
March 15 if you start in May.
Register for courses
After the deposit deadline, log into Banner
to get your registration date and time.
Attend orientation
Orientation is the first day of your first term. Meet
other students, learn about student services and
get to know your campus before classes start.
Get connected
Find housing, get your ONEcard (student card),
research transit or parking, meet your advisor,
buy your books and activate your Georgian email.
