6 GeorgianCollege.ca The new Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre at the Barrie Campus brings together community, industry, faculty and students to turn ideas into products and grow the regional economy. Degree and diploma students access new technology emerging in robotics, environmental technology, manufacturing and assembly while conducting industry relevant research designed to address the challenges of local employers. Georgian degrees offer the hands-on and theoretical learning employers are looking for. Combined degree-diplomas with Lakehead University provide the best of college and university, in just four years of study. Georgian also offers select degree studies with York University, Central Michigan University and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. We embedded entrepreneurial outcomes in all of our 130+ programs, with support for students and community members offered through the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre and Centre for Changemaking and Social Innovation. While our core focus is – and will always be – students, we're also dedicated to the development of our 75,000 graduates as well as employers, partners and communities. We operate three employment service locations in Barrie, Orillia and Orangeville. Additionally, we've undertaken a number of initiatives in partnership with the Anishnaabe Education and Training Circle that focus on infusing Indigenous ideas and values across the college. Georgian is a transformative experience that connects students to the skills they need, the mindset to succeed, and the confidence to thrive. We produce graduates who are fully connected – to their potential, their industry, their community and the world. Learn more at GeorgianCollege.ca.
