This program provides students with a broad-based foundation in museum and gallery
work, including the main technical areas common to all museums and galleries: conservation
and collections management, exhibition design, public programming, and administration.
This program will give students a cross-section of museum and gallery studies, combining
academics, technical practice, and an internship.
Career opportunities
Graduates of this program will be prepared to work in a variety of positions including:
• museum/gallery conservator assistant
• museum registrar
• collection technician
• curatorial assistant
• educator
• animateur
• museum extension officer
• exhibition technician
• graduates may also find employment in
museums and galleries in areas related to
visitor services, marketing and publishing

products – architectural
hardware, cabinetry, appliances,
countertops, sinks, faucets,
and more – from over 50
suppliers. Decorators, designers
and students provided free
consultations to anyone with a
decorating or design dilemma.
