in her hometown.
Cheeseman was already an alumna of
Canadore College's Legal Assistant
program, but it had been years since
she had used those skills and been
in the classroom.
"It was an overwhelming
process to fi nd the best program
for me because there is a lot
of information out there. But
once I contacted Georgian's
Muskoka Campus, staff were
very helpful and pointed me in
the best, and quickest, direction
to regain my offi ce skills," says
Cheeseman.
She chose the Offi ce
Administration – General diploma
program and graduated in 2008.
Cheeseman now works as an insurance
broker at Firstbrook, Cassie and Anderson.
"My second career is very busy and
challenging, but rewarding at the same time,"
says Cheeseman. "I'm fortunate I didn't have
to pursue a program outside of town away from
my family."
