The program In this program, you'll be introduced to the various functional aspects of business in general and accounting in particular. As a graduate, you'll apply computer, communication and mathematical skills as well as management accounting techniques to support accounting activities, including the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of financial statements and individual tax returns. This program is recognized by the Certified General Accountants Association (CGA). Admission requirements OSSD or equivalent with • Grade 12 English (C or U) • Any Grade 11* or 12 mathematics (C, M or U) *Minimum of 60% in Grade 11 college or university level mathematics (MBF3C or MCF3M) Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older) and home school applicants may also be considered for admission. Eligibility may be met by applicants who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED and equivalency testing. In addition, graduates of the BACN program may be granted credit toward degree studies at Griffith University (Australia) and the University of New Brunswick, St. John.
