The program This program prepares English as a Second Language (ESL) learners for success in postsecondary programs or the workplace. As a student in this program, you'll be provided with college entry-level English language courses in the skill areas of reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and listening. There is an emphasis on study skills for success at college including the use of library resources, online learning technology and college services. The program includes classroom and computer- assisted language learning. You'll explore Canadian social and cultural contexts to successfully participate in the academic and extracurricular activities at Georgian. Georgian College is Languages Canada-certified. Also available: English for Academic Purposes Levels 1, 2 and 3. Graduate career opportunities The program is intended to prepare learners for success in postsecondary education or in the workplace.
