MASTER
OF
EDUCATION
AMANDA MCLEAN
School Success Planning Lead,
Kwayaciiwin Education Resource Centre
2007 graduate
I am honoured to be a graduate of
a faculty that is world-renowned and
so well respected across the globe. I
have been told that I am "wanted,"
"desired" and "guaranteed a job"
everywhere I go. At Nipissing,
teachers are taught to teach
students, not "stuff;" but to use
their knowledge to create lessons
that teach content and information,
not just "Do Page 6." Nipissing
teachers know how to differentiate
instruction to suit the needs of their
students, not just the needs of a
program; and to look at education
through the eyes of every child, not
just the bright ones.

MASTER OF EDUCATION
in Curriculum Leadership
TWO OR FOUR YEARS
Nipissing's Master of Education program is an interdisciplinary,
self-growth model that allows students to put their personal
education questions and issues at the forefront of their learning.
Students will have the opportunity to explore the major themes
of curriculum leadership through the central concepts and
frameworks of education. The program – available online and
on-site in North Bay, Bracebridge and Brantford – is ideal for
education, healthcare and other professionals.
