MASTER
OF
ARTS
DEGREE
I was a professor and co-ordinator for
Georgian's nursing program, and found the
courses I took through CMU relevant and
helpful. Assignments allowed me to think about
education from a more theoretical perspective
– which informed my classroom delivery. I also
enjoyed expanding my knowledge of college
systems and learning more about the complex
needs of adult learners. I had two young
children at home, so the fact that I could take
this program right at Georgian's Barrie Campus
was a bonus. This master's degree provided me
with the foundational knowledge I needed to
move into an administrative role at the college
and I have never looked back.
