Georgian College is a creative and innovative institution. My program was
perfectly tailored to two of my passions - business and golf. The three
different co-op positions, the plethora of guest speakers and the amazing
field trips make this program one of a kind. My favourite memories
include playing golf in Scotland at St. Andrew's and Kingsbarns, talking
about coaching philosophies with Sean Foley and Jon Roy, and hanging
out on the 17th green at TPC Sawgrass. With the connections I made,
I immediately walked into a number of job opportunities within the golf
industry. I am currently merchandise manager at The National Golf Club
of Canada. With the education I received at Georgian, I know my dream
of owning and running a golf course can happen in the near future.
