CONNECTIONS As someone who grew up with an overwhelming passion for cars, I began working in the industry at the age of 16. It wasn't long before I encountered many alumni who introduced me to the excellent programs offered through the Automotive Business School of Canada. After I received my honours diploma in Automotive Marketing, Georgian College provided me with the opportunity to further my education by allowing me to work toward a degree in the Bachelor of Business in Automotive Management program. About a week after graduation, I landed a job with Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc., which oversees the performance and placement activities of our national dealer network. These programs provided me with the skills and industry knowledge I needed to succeed. Julian Pastore Bachelor of Business – Automotive Management grad Dealer development co-ordinator, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada Inc. Graduate career opportunities This automotive-specific education prepares graduates for employment in the industry without limiting their ability to pursue graduate-level business degrees. The automotive sector is one of the largest and most diverse industries in Canada's economy and is commonly referred to as one of the major economic engines of the province of Ontario. Employment opportunities resulting from the Bachelor of Business (Automotive Management) degree require high levels of critical thinking, problem solving, professionalism and customer service skills. These include positions at the corporate level in finance, marketing and customer service, as well as managerial positions in dealerships, service providers, fleet and rental operations and in aftermarket businesses across the industry.
