Project Management − Module 4: Project Leadership Develop essential leadership, team development, negotiating, problem solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills to manage project teams. Explore fundamental concepts of influence, motivation, interests, team dynamics and communication associated with project management. BUSN 0203 18 HRS Project Management − Module 5: Project Closing Learn to continuously improve project management, achieve successful project sign-off and how to implement a project management office. Use project closing tools and techniques to learn lessons, complete administrative and financial closure, and gain final acceptance from sponsors. BUSN 0201 9 HRS Project Management − Module 6: Applied Project Management Integration and Evaluation Apply the various concepts, skills, and experiences from all of the previous courses to a comprehensive, integrated project. This is the final course in the program and includes the final exam. BUSN 0202 8 HRS TEACHING AND TRAINING ADULTS MICRO-CREDENTIAL GeorgianCollege.ca/PTTATA (modules 1 to 6 mandatory) Teaching and Training Adults − Module 1: Teaching/Training Adults This module is an introduction to teaching and training adult learners. Participants explore the principles of adult learning and their practical application in the creation and management of effective learning environments. This module is a prerequisite for subsequent offerings and must be taken first in the program. TATA 0023 l 12 HRS | BA Teaching and Training Adults − Module 2: Engaging Adult Learners In this module, students examine the instructor's role in learner engagement and motivation, and factors affecting learner motivation. Through discussion and demonstration of instructional strategies, students explore how to enhance learner engagement and motivation. TATA 0024 l 6 HRS | BA Teaching and Training Adults − Module 3: Preparing a Lesson Students plan an adult learning session using a lesson plan template which is constructed to reflect adult learning principles and include learning activities and assessment(s) aligned to distinct learning outcomes. The template can be applied to the Micro-Teaching clinic module. TATA 0025 l 6 HRS | BA Teaching and Training Adults − Module 4: Teaching and Training Methods In this module, students explore teaching and training methods used to facilitate the needs of diverse learners and provide appropriate learning opportunities for adult learners in the classroom or workplace. Through micro-teaching demonstrations, students identify and apply several different teaching and training methods to help adult learners meet learning objectives. TATA 0026 l 6 HRS | BA Teaching and Training Adults − Module 5: Assessing Learning Students gain an understanding of the importance of aligning learner assessment with learning outcomes. Students apply assessment concepts and strategies suitable for diverse learners. Assessment methods to determine learner achievement of the Teaching and Training Adults program learning outcomes are reviewed. TATA 0027 l 6 HRS | BA Teaching and Training Adults − Module 6: Micro Teaching Clinic In a collegial environment, students apply their learning from previous modules by teaching a short lesson to their peers. Students also submit a lesson plan, provide feedback to each other about the teaching and learning process, act as facilitators and assistants, and engage in self-reflection for continuous growth.
