We often hear from alumni that if it were not for the generosity of our donors, a postsecondary education would
have been out of reach. At Georgian, awards and scholarships reward students for their academic achievement and
extracurricular contributions to their community, or address financial need. Through phase two of the Power of Education
campaign, our donors made it possible for Georgian to distribute over $750,000 annually.
One of the awards and scholarships launched during this campaign was WOMEN'S inTUITION. Georgian Advancement
Committee member Giselle Bodkin founded WOMEN'S inTUITION to assist female students in financial need.
Through the success of the college's signature events, Georgian Gala and the Georgian College Golf Classic, the
community has raised more than $1 million toward awards and scholarships during phase two of the Power of Education
Campaign.
