International students in the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme did a poetry writing activity based on the poem as part of Georgian's Come Together Week celebrating cultural diversity. This activity helps students explore and recognize their cultural background and values by getting them to think about some of the things that have helped in forming them and developing who they are today. In this poetry reading session, several EAP students will share their original 'I Am From' poems. The poems are moving, heartfelt, at times humorous and always heartwarming expression of their diverse identities and personal lived experiences.
