BURSARIES We distribute more than $2 million annually to students who demonstrate financial need. Specific bursaries are available – but not limited to – Indigenous, Métis and First Generation students. AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS Georgian raises over $1 million annually for awards and scholarships – and they're not just for students with good grades! Many awards also consider community involvement, leadership, and financial need. EARN WHILE YOU LEARN Many of our programs offer paid co-op, as well as access to summer employment programs and part-time work-study employment opportunities on campus for eligible students with financial need. STUDENT LINE OF CREDIT Did you know that most banks offer student loans? Contact yours to learn about options, procedures, and deadlines. BUDGET PLANNING We can help you build a budget plan, strategize to control your expenses, and investigate borrowing options. GEORGIAN FOOD LOCKER The Georgian College Students' Association collects and anonymously delivers non-perishable food to students in need through an on-campus food bank. Questions? Contact the Financial Aid office: 705.722.1530 The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides help through loans and grants based on financial need. Eligible students from families with incomes of $50,000 or less receive free average tuition. OSAP 3
