19 78 19 80 19 79 Stephen wears his Georgian pride on his sleeve, and has served as Chair of the Alumni Association Executive Council since 2013. He's also proud to be a first generation college graduate. After 17 years working in the electronics industry, he now enjoys his career as a financial planner, and living and working in his community. John is a retired Canadian Forces major and Ontario Court justice of the peace who, over the course of his career, chaired major task forces, and received numerous awards, distinctions and fellowships. This fall, he began his third Georgian program, Museum and Gallery Studies, and is volunteering as a peer mentor. Derek says a college bus trip to New York City and first-hand experience of a major art and cultural centre reaffirmed his career choice and passion for the arts. He honed his studio practices and met his wife at Georgian – together they contribute to the local arts community and own MAR-10 house.
