19 93 19 95 19 94 Mike's passion for carpentry and cabinet making flourished at Georgian as he learned from his skilled teachers. Now as owner of Bardens Construction Inc., he says, "I apply what I learned at Georgian in my career every day, building beautiful homes for clients and for my family. And I still love what I do!" Nicole went from ad agency to the airways when she developed a penchant for flying. She co-founded her own seaplane charter and training company, Georgian Bay Airways, and boosts Parry Sound's tourism profile. Ever the entrepreneur, she also built SOS Media Solutions and regularly uses the advertising skills she developed at Georgian in her two businesses. In managing the Economic Development department for her First Nation, Angela says she relies on her Georgian studies regularly, everything from marketing to tourism foundations to dining room experience. A team project to develop an action plan for a campground was one of her favourite class projects. Now her son is studying at Georgian.
