Am I eligible for transfer credits?
COURSE-TO-COURSE EQUIVALENCIES
If you have completed a course at another accredited postsecondary
institution you may be eligible for a transfer credit.
BLOCK TRANSFER
If you have completed at least one full year of study at another
accredited postsecondary institution you may be eligible for a block of
transfer credits. For example, this may include transferring previously
completed non-core electives. Block transfer agreements between
Georgian and Ontario colleges and universities can be viewed online
through ONTransfer.ca. Although most agreements require completion
of a diploma or degree, there are agreements that allow you to transfer
with at least one year of completed studies.
ADVANCED STANDING
If you are transferring to the same or similar program at Georgian
College and have completed more than one semester of studies you
may be eligible to enter an upper semester.
Applying for transfer credits is easy!
1. Apply to Georgian by visiting www.ontariocolleges.ca
2. Receive an offer of admission
3. Submit the request form available at GeorgianCollege.ca/ctc
Note: A minimum of 60 per cent or C average in the completed
course(s) is required to transfer credit to Georgian College.
