The talented group of Georgian College alumni featured
on pages nine through 14 of this magazine are establishing
innovative businesses, leading social change, and solving
technical challenges that affect and impact all Canadians
and people around the world.
Each one of them is a 2016 Colleges Ontario Premier's
Awards nominee. The Premier's Awards celebrate Ontario's
outstanding college graduates in the following categories:
Business, Community Services, Creative Arts and Design,
Health Sciences, Recent Graduate, and Technology.
Georgian's group of nominees this year each has a
unique skill set and has been inspired to take what they
learned in the classroom and their own lives to create life-
changing products, install new processes and policies that
impact economies, make recommendations that improve
workplace culture, and create artwork that alters the way
people think about the world and their place in it.
