Students connect with over 100 employers at the Automotive Industries Association of Canada student conference. AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS GeorgianCollege.ca/BBAA HONOURS BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (AUTOMOTIVE MANAGEMENT) CO-OP BBAA This program provides students with a degree in business management with an applied focus on the automotive industry. Students learn current issues, trends and technologies that prepare them to proactively identify and respond to changes in the automotive industry. Instruction, lecture and discussion delivery promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Classes often include a guest speaker series with industry representatives in attendance. Labs are a substantial part of the program. The student-run Georgian Auto Show is the largest lab of its kind in Canada. A strategically sequential co-op structure serves to maximize the link between theory and practice. HONOURS BACHELOR DEGREE 4 years (8 semesters) STARTS SEPTEMBER: Barrie Approximate annual fees: $7,935.02 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS OSSD or equivalent with minimum overall average of 65% in six Grade 12 U or M level courses including: • Grade 12 English (U) • Grade 12 mathematics (U) PLACEMENTS 3 co-op work terms DEGREE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Employment opportunities include positions at the corporate level in: • finance • marketing • customer service Students are also prepared for managerial positions in: • dealerships • aftermarket businesses FUTURE STUDY OPTIONS Graduates of BBAA may be granted direct entry into master's degrees at many universities, including Central Michigan University (US), Davenport University (US), Griffith University (Australia) and St. Mary's University (NS).
