APPROX. ANNUAL FEES For each program, we've combined tuition fees, ancillary fees and program-specific fees for one year. Fees are approximate and are based on 2016-17 fees. They are subject to change. For a detailed breakdown, visit GeorgianCollege.ca/tuition. PLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS Some programs have clinical or work placements that require students to meet specific requirements. For example, if you've been charged or convicted criminally and not pardoned, you may be prohibited from proceeding to placement. Some employers require up-to-date immunization records. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are eligible to participate before placement starts. In this book, programs with placement requirements are marked with a briefcase icon. Possible requirements include: • Clinical Preparedness Permit • CPR certificate • Flu shot • Hepatitis B vaccination • Physical ability and visual acuity • Standard First Aid certificate • Up-to-date immunization record • Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Record Checks For details by program, visit GeorgianCollege.ca/placement-requirements. HIGHLY COMPETITIVE Some of Georgian's programs have far more applicants than spots available. Not all qualified applicants will receive an offer. For those programs, identified with a star icon, you need to apply by Feb. 1. Selection criteria exist for these programs. Please read about them on your program's web page. Details will also be printed in the letter you receive after you apply. FUTURE STUDY OPTIONS Many full-time programs have articulation and transfer agreements with other postsecondary institutions. Articulation and transfer agreements allow Georgian graduates to take other programs without having to repeat courses to graduate.
