HAIRSTYLING
HAIR
This program covers all of the required skills needed to work in the hairstyling trade.
Offered in a condensed format, students complete the diploma in one year. Through
progressive levels of theory and practical techniques, the program focuses on hands-on
training in hair cutting, styling and design, as well as colouring and lightening, chemical
texturizing, permanent wave and hair additions. In addition, students will be introduced to
relevant legislation in the trade, health and safety issues, professional ethics, communication
skills and entrepreneurial practices.
