6 GEORGIAN CAREER AND EMPLOYMENT COMMUNITY SERVICES (CECS) What does CECS do? We help individuals find and keep work. Some of the services we offer include information about who's hiring in the community, personalized advice to help assess your skills and experience, assistance finding work and/ or starting on the path to skills training. We also help employers hire people with the skills they need. Is there a fee? All of the services and programs offered through CECS are funded by Employment Ontario, Ministry of Education and Service Canada. Some programs have eligibility requirements. CECS also delivers the Canada- Ontario Job Grant The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees. Employers choose the individuals they would like to have trained and the training that meets their workforce development needs.
