FIRST YEAR FEES: $3,909.06 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS OSSD or equivalent with • Grade 12 English (C or U) Students are provided with the knowledge and skills required of contemporary police officers. A common first year with the Protection, Security and Investigation program provides an overall understanding of criminal justice and law enforcement and also allows students the opportunity to transfer between programs. Second-year students are provided with both academic and practical courses. Areas of study include forensic crime scene examination, interview skills, use-of-force, police powers, and crisis intervention. The physical training and career preparation components of the program are designed to prepare students to meet the specific demands of police recruitment processes. If you have a criminal record, talk to a college counsellor before enrolling.
