AN INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIP
Georgian and Lakehead, already the two largest postsecondary institutions in Simcoe County, are working
together to expand local degree options. We serve nearly 3,000 degree students with room for an additional
1,200 students at Georgian's University Partnership Centre and 800 students at Lakehead Orillia.
Lakehead-Georgian students will experience the best of both college and university education – often earning
a diploma and degree in just four years. This is education for the future, where students develop academic
scholarship, applied skills and critical reasoning to contribute to their workplaces and communities.
