Graduates engage with at-risk children, youth and their families as they navigate these challenges and build on strengths and capacities to facilitate positive change. Students explore, practise, and implement a variety of evidence-informed therapeutic prevention and intervention strategies. We emphasize experiential learning, community service and social entrepreneurship. Students practise skills in case management, community development and advocacy. There will be opportunities to engage in the community through community service learning and field placement. Career opportunities Graduates are eligible for registration in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
