FIRST YEAR FEES: $4,109.06 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS OSSD or equivalent with • Grade 12 English (C or U) This program prepares students with the knowledge, skills and professional competencies required for the esthetics industry. Graduates of this program are able to provide advanced spa modalities such as make-up and specialized skin, body and hand/foot treatments. In addition, business applications required to run a small business are emphasized. This program has been specifically designed with the intent to academically prepare the graduate for future international and provincial testing and recognition. Career opportunities Graduates of this program may work in a variety of spas: • day and resort spas • destination and cruise ship spas • salons • health and wellness establishments • casino spas In addition, this program prepares graduates for employment in areas such as: • product sales • distributing and retailing of esthetic products • product education • spa reception and management • contracting and consulting positions • pharmaceutical industries • dermatologists and plastic surgeons' offices Future study options: Graduates of ESTH may be granted credit toward degree studies via an articulation agreement with Davenport University (US). See page 23 for details. ESTHETICIAN ESTH Last fall, we eliminated all paper textbooks in our Paramedic programs. Students purchased iPad Minis and Georgian Stores created one-stop shopping for all required digital materials.
