Exercise science, health promotion and business administration represent the primary areas of concentration supported by a curriculum that includes anatomy, physiology, group fitness leadership, fitness testing, personal training, lifestyle programming and client counselling. Business fundamentals and health promotion include courses in small business and entrepreneurship, community development and administrative practices. Practical experience is obtained through lab and workplace settings. See page 23 for details. FITNESS AND HEALTH PROMOTION FHPR Georgian Culinary students went head-to-head on a weekly Rogers TV series called Soup'd Up. The winner was John Cooper, whose creamed carrot and curry creation won him $1,000 tuition, $500 cash, a baking kit, and a cooking kit – plus an appearance on Rogers TV Showtime.
