PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION
PSRE (CERTIFICATE ACHIEVEMENT)
Psychosocial rehabilitation is an approach to service delivery that supports the recovery of people with prolonged mental illness. The
program attracts people with experience in the field of mental health services. Students develop an understanding of the foundations
of mental health rehabilitation, as well as the knowledge and skills related to integrating the psychosocial rehabilitation approach within
practice and programs. The program also provides knowledge and skills to frontline staff and service users of mental health agencies.
This Certificate of Achievement program will be delivered online by Ontariolearn. Please go to the OntarioLearn website at

Successful completion of the program may assist to prepare students for certification as a CPRP (Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation
Practitioner) through the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (uspra.org).
