HOMESTAY
The Georgian College International Homestay
program provides exciting opportunities.
Students can experience a Canadian lifestyle
and establish relationships within the
community. Our Homestay program provides safe, caring and
interactive hosts with whom international students can improve their language
skills and cultural awareness.
Homestay hosts provide necessary household items, including a furnished
bedroom for the student. Most homes are located close to public transport or
within walking distance of the campus.

HOMESTAY
The host provides a variety of
nutritional, well-balanced meals
(breakfast, lunch and dinner) every
day – including weekends.
SHARED
HOMESTAY
The student shares the kitchen with
the Homestay host. The student
buys, prepares and cleans up
after his or her own meals. The
Homestay host helps the student
become familiar with the kitchen,
explaining use of equipment,
where to find grocery stores and
cooking supplies.
