Georgian solidifi ed my passion for social change and community development. My anti-bullying program with Camp Couchiching – through Georgian's Centre for Social Entrepreneurship – gained me an Orillia Chamber of Commerce Award and I still enjoy working at the camp part-time. Thanks to an articulation agreement between Georgian and Lakehead University, I advanced to the second year of the Bachelor of Social Work. My diploma gave me a good base of information and experience, and my degree will deepen and strengthen my knowledge and skills – I'm getting the best of both worlds!
