GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
I chose my program because when my sister was younger, she
was unable to talk and express her needs – that is, until she
received help from a speech language pathologist and a
communicative disorders assistant. Speech therapy changed her
life. I wanted to be a part of that change for other children like
her. I chose Georgian College because it has one of the most
reputable programs in the province. The teachers are
professionals who have, or still do, work in the field of speech
and language development. The program prepares graduates
for the real world by developing adaptability and strategies to
meet each individual's unique needs. I am making a difference in
people's lives, teaching children and coaching parents.
