The basic concept of using recreation activities as a vehicle to achieving health, personal growth and development is employed for individuals with various disabilities or special needs. Graduates of this program are qualified to work within health and recreation service delivery systems serving individuals with disabilities. Students learn the skills of assessing, leading, programming, facilitating and counselling to offer meaningful and healthful leisure/recreation opportunities to people with disabilities. EARN A GRADUATE CERTIFICATE THROUGH PART-TIME STUDY If career, family or other responsibilities make it difficult for you to attend classes full-time, consider part-time options. You can now earn a graduate certificate in the following specialized fields through part-time study.
