I'm excited about Georgian, its scale, teachers,
multiple services and programs. It is modern and well
equipped with excellent facilities. Georgian College's
main campus is located in Barrie (about 40-60 minutes'
drive from Toronto).
I studied two months in the English program,
(English for Academic Purposes Level 4), which includes
lessons in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Georgian College provides its students with modern
computers and a huge well-equipped library.
I do not regret a single second that I chose Canada,
this city, this college and this program. I met a lot
of Canadian friends, perfectly mastered English, and
I have a lot of friends from different countries.
The fact that we are far away from home makes us
very united.
I applied to a few more colleges in Toronto, but
Georgian College responded the fastest.
When people ask me why I left Russia, I always say,
for a better education. I have no doubt that the teachers
at Georgian College will help me become a great nurse.
