Apply to college
Once you've found the perfect program, visit ontariocolleges.ca to apply. Be sure to submit your
application by the Feb. 1 equal consideration deadline. You can still apply after this date, however,
applications will then be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Track your application
Log in to MyGCLife.ca to check your application status, review outstanding admission requirements
and stay up to date on your next steps. If you're missing any requirements, contact your admissions
officer to discuss options.

You're in! Accept your offer
Nov. 1 is the earliest date colleges may begin to send offers of admission. We'll continue to issue
offers until programs are filled. Your offer will be posted on your OCAS dashboard under Offers.
Select the program you want and click Accept! Applicants to highly competitive programs are
encouraged to confirm their offer and pay their deposit as soon as possible, as deadlines are subject
to change based on demand and availability of seats.

Transfer your credits
Have previous education or work experience? You may be eligible for transfer credits or Prior
Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR), helping you accelerate your program at Georgian.

Apply for financial assistance and explore housing
Start planning early by applying for entrance awards, OSAP and part-time on-campus jobs. If you'll
be living away from home, explore residence and off-campus housing options to find the best fit.

Your tuition deposit secures your place in your program. Visit MyGCLife.ca for your personalized
deadline and payment options.

Register for courses
About one month before classes begin, log in to MyGCLife.ca to view your registration date and
time, register for your courses, and access everything you need to prepare for your first semester.

Prepare for your first day
Log in to MyGCLife.ca to get your ONEcard (student ID), explore transit and parking options,
connect with your student success and/or accessibility advisor, buy your books, and access the
Guide for New Students.

Attend Orientation – welcome to Georgian!
Kick off your Georgian experience by attending Head Start and Orientation. Meet your
