Alison Houston (class of 2007) is Vice President, People Operations & Strategy at The M Group of Companies
and a proud graduate of Georgian College. Ali is passionate about helping businesses grow through people-
centered leadership, strategy and innovation, while creating environments where individuals can thrive, find
meaningful work and feel a true sense of belonging. She also serves as a co-chair on the Georgian College
Alumni Executive Council, supporting alumni engagement and sponsorship initiatives that foster collaboration,
community impact and lifelong connection. With a background spanning HR, IT, operations and coaching,
Ali brings a thoughtful and inspiring perspective on growth, resilience and living in alignment with purpose.
Through her work, she's committed to empowering people and organizations to lead authentically, embrace
change and make a positive difference in the communities they serve.
