Greetings from
Georgian's President
and CEO
Aaniin, She:Kon, Nakurmiik, Tanshi, greetings in Ojibwe, Mohawk, Inuktitut and Michif. Heartfelt
congratulations, Grizzlies! We're incredibly proud of you and all you've achieved.
Reaching this moment took a lot of hard work, perseverance and commitment. I remember, as a
student, balancing studies with other responsibilities wasn't easy. I admire – and am inspired by –
your determination and grit.
Maybe you've already secured employment, have decided to continue your studies, or are still
trying to figure out what's next. Regardless, I encourage you to see this new beginning as an
opportunity. Embrace it, be curious and stay open to the possibilities. Don't be afraid to take risks,
change direction or fail sometimes too. That's often when we learn life's greatest lessons.
You now join more than 125,000 other Georgian alumni living, working and making an impact
all over the world. I hope, like them, you'll use your skills as a changemaker and leader to drive
positive transformation in your workplaces and communities. We certainly need your perspective,
talents and gifts!
Today, we don't say goodbye but rather baa-maa-pii, which means until later in Anishnaabemowin
– the language of the Ojibwe people of these territories.
Georgian will always be here for you, cheering you on, and we hope you'll keep in touch with us
and share your stories. I know wonderful adventures are ahead.
Wishing you all the best. Chi-Miigwech, thank you.
