Registered Nursing (class of 2000, with honours) and CEO of Happy at Home Support Services Inc.
She first graduated as an RPN in 1992 and began her career in the hospital sector.
Years later, with the unwavering support of her husband—who cashed out his life savings
so she could pursue her academic dreams—Sheona returned to complete her RN
at Georgian.
She was hired immediately in the Emergency Department at a local hospital, and after
that, she founded her homecare agency, now serving over 4,000 families.
Twice, she broke the revenue ceiling for small-market agencies in Orillia. Sheona donates
over 250 volunteer hours annually through community programs and board work.
In 2013, she was nominated by Georgian for a Colleges Ontario Premier's Award.
She's a proud wife, a mother of two amazing sons, and a fierce advocate for continuing
education and women in leadership.
Sheona lives by the motto: service above self.
