No one could have prepared for the immense impact the COVID-19 pandemic would have on nearly every aspect of
our society—including our hard-hit retail and automotive sectors. But for Andrew Ojamae, president of Ontario-based
retail dealership group AutoIQ, this also became a unique opportunity to innovate and redefine how to respond to these
historic business challenges—a resilient mindset that, in many ways, he credits to Georgian College.
"Georgian isn't just where I received my diploma. It has been an important part of the fabric of my life for more than two
decades. From the first moment I set foot on campus, Georgian has been a massive accelerant in my career, enabling
invaluable learning opportunities and a network of lifelong connections that I am still building and benefitting from. It was
even where I met my long-time mentor and business partner, who spoke during one of my classes and who I reconnected
with at a Georgian event 25 years later."
