Bun on the Run
takeout food service
|
Hospitality students create
the food and serve it in
reusable containers with
bamboo cutlery, reducing
single-use plastics.
Garden
|
We plant a variety
of produce that's used
in student learning and
on-campus dining rooms.
Any extra food goes to the
Georgian FoodLocker for
students in need.
Orchard
|
Pear, cherry and
apple trees were planted
to lower carbon emissions.
Beehives and bee
domiciles
|
The domicile
is a home for native
pollinators, while beehives
were brought in to produce
honey for the college.
Microgrid
|
Electric
vehicles and other
buildings on the Barrie
Campus are powered by
our microgrid system.
