Both options include real-time interactions, field trips (in person or virtual), and more. BE A PART OF THE POW WOW PLANNING TEAM Predominantly student-driven, Georgian's annual traditional Pow Wow draws dancers, drummers, vendors and spectators from all over Turtle Island. The one-day cultural celebration is open to all and attracts thousands of people to the Barrie Campus. Georgian was recognized with the Indigenous Education award of excellence by the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics. Wiidookdaading Indigenous Resource Centres | Community social gatherings, feasts, cultural teachings and crafting regularly take place in the centres at the Barrie, Midland, Orillia and Owen Sound campuses.
